This very rare FAMOUS CRAFT #39 Runabout was designed and built in 1957 by JOHN & JAN RINKER in Goshen Indiana. Only 3 1957 Famous-Craft boats were built with the adjustable rear after-Plane. This was done to decrease the porpoising effect due to the narrow bottom because of the large "Roll up" Chines. That boat originally came from out east & it was never raced.
