Phil Bolger designed "Cartopper", an 11-1/2 foot (4 foot beam) sailing/rowing dinghy built by myself and launched in 2013. It has a sprit-rigged sail, a traditional easy-to-set-up sailing rig. It has a weighted centerboard and a weighted pivoting rudder. I've sailed it on the Potomac River or Rehoboth Bay every summer since launching (except for this season).
